2019. gada 29. jūlijā Gilroja (Kalifornija, ASV) ķiploku festivālā "Gilroy Garlic Festival" uzbrucējs kamuflāžas apģērba atklāja šaušanu uz festivāla apmeklētājiem no automātiskā ieroča.
Divas stundas pēc apšaudes kļuva zināms, ka viens no uzbrucējiem tika nošauts, bet otro tuvākā mežā meklē policija. Atjaunots 30.07.2019.: Meklēšanas beigās policija paziņoja, ka viņai nav zināms vai bija otrs šāvējs vai nebija.
Atjaunots 08:15: 4 bojā gājušie, ieskaitot šāvēju. 15 ievainotie. Starp bojā gājušajiem ir 6 gadus vecs zēns. Policija meklē otru personu, kura saistīta ar šāvēju.
Atjaunots 30.07.2019.: policija nosaukusi šāvēja vārdu - 19. gadus vecs Santino William Legan. Policija skaidro viņa uzbrukuma motīvus.
